1950 Buenos Aires.
The war is five years over. The Reich is ash. But you are still alive — under a new name, behind a new counter, kneading dough into the small hours of a city that has agreed not to ask questions.
By day you run a bakery. You serve bread, make change, and smile at whoever walks through the door — old comrades from the Fatherland who expect your loyalty, ordinary customers who expect nothing but a warm loaf, and somewhere among them, members of an anti-Nazi resistance network hiding in plain sight, waiting to see if you can be trusted with their lives.
By night, the letters arrive. Keep them, trim them, or burn them — every choice leaves a trace, and every trace is a clue. Piece them together, and the truth about who is loyal, who is hunted, and who is hunting you starts to take shape.
You are balancing on a blade with two edges. Drift too far from the Party, and your own kind will decide what to do with a traitor. Drift too far from public suspicion, and the authorities will finally ask the question everyone has avoided. Somewhere in between, fifteen people are trusting you to keep them alive — and at least one hunter has already caught your scent.
A narrative mystery about complicity, disguised as a bakery sim.
Run a real bakery, day after day — bake, serve, balance the books, and close up before the neighbors start talking
Manage two reputations at once: your standing with the Party that made you, and your standing with the world that would hang you for it
Read, trim, or destroy every letter that crosses your desk — what you keep becomes evidence, what you burn is gone for good
Collect and combine clues to identify who among your customers is a comrade in hiding, and who is hunting them
Talk to visitors after dark, when the shop is closed, and the truth gets a little easier to tell
Multiple endings shaped by every reputation shift, every clue, and every letter you choose to keep
